To install a Groupee make sure your psu is up to the task, standard HP computers come with very poor psu's and are typically woefully underpowered for any major upgrades other than an additional hdd or two. Computer powers off in sleep mode From the your spec sheet it will take the CPU upgrade with no problem. Just because the socket size is correct doesn't mean the MOBO can handle it. A small upgrade is possible.

I purchased this computer back in and only recently started upgrading it. You have to use the exact same size, FSB and socket. Trouper far as the mobo, the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that I can't overclock it, but it's still the fastest of my 5 desktops.
